As you might have heard, a new Jeep Wrangler will be released in 2018. While details are scarce, we do know bits and pieces. Recently, The Fast Lane Car caught a next-gen model testing up in the mountains and scouted it out to see just what lay beneath the camouflage. They also came away with some predictions about what it's packing.
The center-piece of the Jeep brand's halo model is its off-road ability, and from what we've heard, that won't be changing. While the automaker has promised a clean diesel engine as well as a "mild-hybrid" model, we're told that the off-roading abilities of the Wrangler will remain, and perhaps be enhanced. Some benefits will also be added in, such as aluminum components and aerodynamic tweaks to bolster gas mileage.
The all-new Wrangler should debut either by the end of this year, or the beginning of next year, and you can bet your automotive bonnet we'll be telling you about it when it does! In the meantime, stop by our Jeep dealership in Pocatello, ID and set up a test drive.
