It's time for the second annual Chrysler Group design competition! All Michigan high school students are once again being given the chance to let their talent and passion for the automotive world shine. There is currently a lot of creativity happening in the Motor City.

The "Autorama High School Design Competition" as it is officially called, asks that students step outside the box using the new Chrysler lineup as inspiration for designing a new vehicle. In doing so they must consider the environment and market their creation towards younger drivers.

Once participants design their vehicle according to the specific criteria, they then have until Friday, January 10 to submit their creation via email or regular mail. The judging is performed by faculty from the College of Creative Studies along with members of the Chrysler Group Product Design team. After the finalists are announced at the end of January, the winners are presented with prizes ranging from iPads to scholarships, at the award ceremony that takes place in March.
