As Edmunds' third annual Best Retained Value Award winners have been announced, Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM of Pocatello was thrilled to learn that the Jeep brand captured quite the victory. Coming out on top in the non-luxury brand division, Jeep was given a projected 50.6 percent residual value after five years.

Two models in particular that Edmunds.com singled out for offering drivers impressive residual value were the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Grand Cherokee. These models guarantee the level of reliability that drivers in the greater Pocatello, ID area and beyond are looking for.

To clarify why the Jeep Wrangler stood out in particular, Joe Spina, Edmunds.com director of auto remarketing, explains, "The Wrangler is especially vital to the brand because its retained value sits at an elite level matched by few other vehicles in any segment."1

Edmunds recognizes residual value at the model-level as well, presenting awards in 22 different categories. They are determined by the model's body type and the sales-weighted average MSRP of each style (not including destination charges) of that particular body type. A model's "retained value" is described as the projected private party resale after a vehicle is in the market for five years with an estimated 15,000 mile put on the vehicle each year.

Now that you know the brand offers new Jeep models with the best value, we encourage you to head on over to our showroom to check them out. Our friendly staff is here to schedule test drives at your convenience and assist you in every way that they can to match you with the perfect vehicle. We look forward to seeing you soon!
