Sometimes people yearn to get really creative with their vehicles, so what better way to satisfy this craving then to jazz it up with auto parts to make it one of a kind? This is exactly the approach that one Dodge fan decided to take, and all of us here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM of Pocatello are excited to share his story with you.
A creative auto fanatic from Utah was able to get his hands on a rare 1984 Dodge Colt Turbo and decided to give it quite a unique makeover. He actually transformed it into a life size bumper car believe it or not, and the finished product is now quite the head turner.
So what exactly does a full-size bumper car look like? It sports a frame made of fiberglass that was customized and fitted to the vehicle. Its flashy red paint job really gives it the flashy finish it needs as it contrasts with the black body kit that looks like a giant bumper surrounding the car. On the inside, a majority of the original components like its eight-speed dual sport shifter are still intact, while the top of the vehicle was removed to allow for easy entry. To finalize the model a black pole was even added to the back, mimicking the bumper cars that are typically found at summer fairs.
While we wouldn't recommend actually using this customized Dodge Colt as a bumper car, it would still be pretty fun to drive around in the greater Pocatello, ID area and beyond. If you are interested in learning more about it, this model is actually for sale on eBay.
